Residency Requirement

When you complete the Voter Registration Application, your address will determine the county and precincts where you will be eligible to vote.  You will also use this form if you have moved and need to change your address.  You can check the status of your current registration at the Secretary of State’s Poll Locator.

Here are some tips on how to determine your residence:

• Where are you physically living?
• Do you intend to permanently or indefinitely reside at your present location?
• What address is listed on your license?
• What is your billing mailing address?
• Do you claim your parents address as your permanent residence?
