Rome Among 13 Georgia Cities Selected for Electronic Voting Pilot Project this Fall

Secretary Cox Announces Third 21st Century Vote Commission Meeting To Be Held at Shorter College in Rome Thursday, June 28th

 

What: The third meeting of the 21st Century Vote Commission, an 18-member bi-partisan panel created to assist Secretary Cox in evaluating election equipment as Georgia moves towards a new, uniform statewide election system.

Commission members will hear testimony from election officials from throughout the country who have used electronic voting equipment in their local elections. In addition, members will also review the State Certification and Testing status of each of the seven electronic voting vendors set to participate in the project including Hart Intercivic, Diversified Dynamics, Election Systems and Software, Unilect, Global Election Systems, Shoup Voting Solutions, and VoteHere.net.
