Secretary Cox: 21st Century Voting Commission Meeting To Be
Held at Albany State University Thursday, October 4th

 

What: The fourth meeting of the 21st Century Voting Commission, an 18-member bi-partisan panel created to assist Secretary Cox in evaluating election equipment as Georgia moves towards a new, uniform statewide election system. The Commission is charged with overseeing the electronic voting pilot project taking place in 13 Georgia cities this November.

Commission members will hear reports from members who recently observed electronic voting equipment in use in Ohio, South Carolina and Florida elections. Members will also receive updates on the hiring of voter education coordinators in each of the 13 pilot cities and will review which races will appear on the ballots.
