Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts at its June 14 Meeting
Macon, Ga.— The Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts held its meeting on Monday, June 14, 2010.
The Board voted to approve one applicant for licensure.
The Board voted to approve the following continuing education courses:
- American Water Works Association: 2010 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE 10)
- Bradshaw and Crawford Associates, Jacquelyn M. Richards: Bloodborne Pathogens Training, Personal Protective Equipment, Office Safety, Housekeeping, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Refresher, Back Safety, Electrical Safety
- Dalton Utilities, Gary L. Hill: Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical Hazards, CPR/First Aid/AED, Hazardous Materials
- Dr. Lev Nelik, P.E., Lev Nelik: Centrifugal and Positive Displacement Pumps: Theory, Applications and Hands-On
- Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP), Jack Dozier, Blanche Johnson, Brian Skeens: Water Audit & Loss Control

The Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts will hold its next meeting Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
