Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts at its February 25 Meeting

Macon, Ga.— The Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts held its meeting on Thursday, February 25, 2010.

The Board voted to approve seven applicants for licensure.

The Board voted to re-post an amendment to Rule 750-3-.04, because of a change in the February 2010 meeting date. The rule amendment would allow for a reduction in the required experience for applicants with an Associate of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or other related field of study, approved by the Board.

The Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts will hold its next meeting Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
