Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts at its June 18 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts met on Thursday, June 18, 2009.

The Board accepted a consent order on the following licensure applicant:

• Jerry Eugene Lones (Wastewater Collection System Operator), Perry: Probation concurrent with criminal probation.

The Board voted to approve the following applications for licensure:

• Billy Wayne Aldridge (Water Distribution Operator), Buchanan
• Edward Akerman (Water Operator Class 4), Griffin
• Arthur Francisco Soares, II (Water Operator Class 4) Grovetown
• Timothy Kindberg (Wastewater Operator Class 3), Harlem
• Unity Ekhosuehi Oviasogie (Water Distribution Operator), Hawthorne, CA
• Timothy Mark Hammond (Wastewater Operator Class 3), Hogansville
• Tommy Lee Flowers (Wastewater Operator Class 3), Macon
• John Leon Tucker (Water Operator Class 3), Martinez
• Shawn Christopher Bryant (Water Operator Class 3), Roberta
• Jim Chitty (Wastewater Operator Class 1), Valdosta
• Joseph Alexander Russell (Wastewater Operator Class 3), Warner Robins

The Board voted to elect Stanley Tate of Carrollton as vice chair.
