Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine at its April 1 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine met on Wednesday, April 1, 2009.
The Board voted to post an amendment to the following rule:
- Board Rule 700-7-.02 Reinstatement of Expired Licenses. The rule amendment changes the license late renewal period from the current one year to three months. The change brings the rule in compliance with current Georgia law.
The Board accepted a public consent order on the following licensee:
- Dr. Mary Elizabeth Martin, DVM, Savannah. The order cites a period of unlicensed practice. The Board imposed a $400 fine for unlicensed practice.
The Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine will hold its next meeting Wednesday, June 10, 2009at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Board in Macon.
