Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine at its February 6 Meeting

Macon, Ga.�The Georgia State Board of Veterinary Medicine held its bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 6.

The Board voted to post the following rules for revisions:

Board Rule 700-7-.03, Veterinary Continuing Education: This revision will begin requiring a Georgia laws and rules continuing education class for each license renewal period.
Board Rule 700-7-.04, Veterinary Technician Continuing Education: This revision will institute a requirement for licensed veterinary technicians to begin acquiring continuing education for license renewal.
