Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers at its March 17 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers held its meeting on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
The Board reviewed and approved four used motor vehicle dealer licenses.
The Board ratified 152 used motor vehicle dealer licenses that were issued since its last meeting.
The Board accepted a consent order from the following licensees:
- Discount Auto Spot, Inc., Atlanta: Provides for a public reprimand, $500 fine, and proof of title conveyance within 30 days to the retail purchaser.
- Onyx Motors, Fairburn: Provides for a public reprimand, $1000 fine for failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to a retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
- Atlanta Used Cars, Lilburn: Provides for a public reprimand, $2000 fine for failure to maintain garage liability insurance.
- Motor Classic Cars, Roswell: Provides for a public reprimand, $1000 fine, and proof of title conveyance within 30 days to the retail purchaser.
The Board accepted voluntary surrenders from the following licensees:
