Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers at its July 23 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
The Board voted to issue Final Decisions on each of the following cases:
Adams Motors, Thomaston: The Board issued a $1,500 fine for six instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Brito Auto Service, Lawrenceville: The Board issued a $1,750 fine for seven instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Byron Auto Sales Inc, Byron: The Board waived the citation.
La Isla Auto Sales, Savannah: The Board issued a $1,000 fine for one instance of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
Amigo Auto Sales Inc, Marietta: The Board issued a $500 fine for one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
Greg’s E-Z Own, Baxley: The Board issued a $13,000 fine for 13 instances failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and 13 instances of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
The Board accepted Public Consent Orders on each of the following:
Priority Automotive Group, Smyrna: A $500 fine for one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
The Board accepted the voluntary surrender of Used Motor Vehicle Dealer license from:

The Board approved Orders Accepting Fine Monies & Settling Inspection on each of the following:
Best Net Auto Sales Inc, Carrollton: A $250 fine for one instance of failure to obtain Class II Supplemental License for off-premise sales
Diane Motors of Carrollton Inc, Carrollton: A $1,000 fine for one instance of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
Import Car Connection Inc, Tucker: A $1,000 fine for one instance of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.

Anytime Auto Sales, Griffin: A $500 fine for two instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Thomson Motor Centre Inc, Martinez: A $500 fine for two instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
H.R.M. Auto Sales Inc, Macon: A $250 fine for one instance of failure to submit application for address change within 30 days of effective date of change.
N & N Auto Sales, Warner Robins: A $500 fine for two instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Car City, Statesboro: Fines totaled $2,500. A $2,000 fine for two instances of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and two instances of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date. An additional $500 fine for two instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Schwabe Motor Company, Swainsboro: A $1,000 fine for four instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Jerry’s Auto Sales, Thomaston: A $750 fine for three instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Flamingo Auto Sales Inc, Lithia Springs: A $2,000 fine for two instances of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and two instances of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
M & M Motors, Hinesville: A $3,000 fine for three instances of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and three instances of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
Genao Auto Sales Inc, Marietta: A $5,000 fine for five instances of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and five instances of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
Stan’s Auto Sales Inc, Hiram: A $2,000 fine for two instances of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and two instances of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
V & V Auto Center Inc, Marietta: A $4,000 fine for 16 instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Cars To Go, Marietta: A $1,250 fine for five instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Discount Auto Sales Inc, Acworth: A $1,000 fine for one instance of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
Smart Cars Inc, Acworth: A $500 fine for two instances of failure to post FTC Buyer Guides on each vehicle offered for sale.
Mason Auto Brokers Inc, Jonesboro: A $1,000 fine for one instance of failure to apply for a title in the retail purchaser’s name within 30 calendar days after the date of sale; and one instance of failure to furnish appropriate documents required for tag transfer to the retail purchaser within 30 days of purchase date.
