Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology at its December 13 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology met Monday, December 13, 2010.

The Board voted to adopt an amendment to Board Rule 609-7-.01 Continuing Professional Education Requirements. The amendment restricts the continuing education that can be awarded for ethics, record-keeping, documentation, Georgia laws and rules, Medicaid regulations and/or Medicare regulations or related topics.

The Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology will hold its next meeting Monday, January 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
