Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology at its March 16 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology met Monday, March 16, 2009.

The Board voted to adopt the following rule revision:

  • Board Rule 609-6-.01. Speech-Language Pathology Aides. The revision makes changes to the training and supervision requirements, and defines the scope of practice and renewal requirements for speech-language pathology aides in Georgia.

The Georgia State Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology will hold its next meeting Monday, April 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
