Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy at Its September 20 Meeting

Morrow, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy met on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.

The board voted to post an amendment to Board Rule 490-9-.04 to define and outline requirements for physical therapist who wish to perform dry needling procedures.

The board elected the following officers for 2012:

• Don Walsh, Gainesville, President
• Bo Hamel, Carrollton, Vice-President

The Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy will hold its next meeting Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
