Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists at its May 20 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists met on Friday, May 20, 2011.

The Board approved the following applications for licensure by oral examination:

• Gaynor, Brianna, Duluth
• Hatch, Daniel, Dahlonega
• McDonald, Daniel, Suwanee
• Defife, Jared, Atlanta
• Williams, LaRae, Decatur
• Perez-Lopez, Mark, Statesboro
• Burnett, Todd, Savannah
• Adams, Kristin, Tallahassee, FL

The following petition for variance/waiver request was presented to the Board:

• Dr. Christine McGuire, Evans, GA-Rule 510-2-.05. Board Decision: Denied; failure to substantiate a significant, demonstrable and unique hardship.

The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists will hold its next meeting Friday, June 17, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
