Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists at its July 17 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists met on Friday, July 17, 2009.

The Board voted to deny a petition for variance or waiver submitted by Jeremy Hertza.

The Board voted to license the following individuals:

• Lindsay Luton, Atlanta
• Marc Alan Martinez, Atlanta
• Nydiya Nkongho, Atlanta
• Joan Robinson, Canton
• LaTonya Carey-Wright, College Park
• Richard Stewart Jr., Gainesville
• Barbara LoRusso, Marietta
• Sarah Golsen, Marietta
• William Burgan, Phoenix City, AL
• Jan Bestwick, Savannah

The Board voted to accept the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:

• Scott Whalen Carroll, Atlanta
• David Edwards, Roswell

The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists will hold its next meeting Friday, August 21, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
