Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists at its March 27 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists met on Friday, March 27, 2009.

The following applicants were approved for licensure by examination:

  • Susan Barrett, Atlanta
  • Lizabeth Currin, Marietta
  • Katie Dickinson, Columbus
  • Duane Harris, Milledgeville
  • Julia Land, Smyrna
  • Jason Nelson, Athens
  • Dana Wyner, Atlanta
  • Arnold Zilberkant, Alpharetta

The following applicants were approved for temporary licensure:

  • Brandon Hertza, Fayetteville
  • Lynne Daurelle, Conyers
  • Winston, Dill, Columbia, SC
  • Mimi Okazaki, Tallahassee, FL

The Board voted to accept a cease and desist order from Spurgeon N. Cole, Bogart.

The Board congratulated Board Vice Chair Dr. Marsha Sauls of Marietta for her reappointment to the Board by Governor Perdue.

The Georgia State Board of Examiners of Psychologists will hold its next meeting on Friday, April, 17, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
