Yes, each candidate submitting an application for a pharmacist license must take and pass the Georgia Practical, MPJE, and NAPLEX. The candidate must receive an overall passing score of 75% in each section with the exception of the GA Practical. The GA Practical consists of several parts in which the applicant must pass each section with a score of 60% or better and have an overall average of 75%.  If you fail an examination the NABP requires that you wait 31 days to be re-examined for the MPJE and 91 days to be re-examined for the NAPLEX.


Score Transfer - The applicant must have taken and passed the NAPLEX examination in another state.  The applicant must submit an application to the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy to take the Georgia Practical examination.  Score transfers are reviewed by the board on a case-by-case basis.


NAPLEX and MPJE scores are valid for two (2) years
