Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors at its December 14 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors met on Tuesday, December 14, 2010.
The Board reviewed and approved 82 applicants seeking registration as a Professional Engineer by comity; two Engineers-in-Training; one Land Surveyor; four applications for reinstatement as a Professional Engineer; 13 applications for Professional Engineer Firms; and four applications for Land Surveyor Firms.
The Board voted to accept the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:
- Steve Bakatsas, Marietta
- Neville Delano Reynolds, Jacksonville, FL
The Board voted to accept the following consent order upon renewal of the Professional Engineer license and placing the license on probation to run concurrent with criminal probation:
The Board voted to accept the following consent order for unlicensed practice assessing a $2000 fine and $1000 reinstatement fee:
- Andrew Marlin, Birmingham, AL
The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors will hold its next meeting Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
