Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors at its April 14 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors met on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

The Board voted to approve 98 applications for registration as a professional engineer by comity, one application for reinstatement of licensure as an engineer, and one application for reinstatement of licensure as a land surveyor.

 The Board voted to approve the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:

• Larry Brown d/b/a PZDM, Macon: Engineering
• Joe Jarrett, Tate: Land surveying
• Randy Carver, Jasper: Land surveying

The Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors will hold its next meeting Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
