Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy at its March 19 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy met on Friday, March 19, 2010.
The Board voted to approve two applications for licensure by restoration, 17 requests for certification of physical agent modality – OT, and two requests for certification of physical agent modality – OTA.
The Board voted to post the following rule amendments for the minimum 30 day requirement upon the receipt of the memo of authority from the Assistant Attorney General:

- Rule 671-3-.09-2 Restored License
The following individual signed a cease and desist order for unlicensed practice as an occupational therapist:
- Kelly Weaver-Chastain, Thomasville
The Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy will hold its next meeting Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
