Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy at its January 23 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy met on Friday, January 23, 2009.

The Board approved the following applicants for licensure:

• Andrea Bussey, Augusta
• LaChell M. Taylor, Roswell

The Board approved the following applicants for licensure by restoration:

• Susanne M. Mines, Soddy Daisy, TN
• Sonya R. Westwood, Hull

The Board approved requests for certification of physical agent modality-occupational therapy from the following applicants:

• Leah M. Baynard, Madison, FL
• Victoria M. Brinson, Augusta
• Ryan M. Carrick, Midland
• Melchor C. Gomeyac, Powder Springs
• Mary C. Lodde, Atlanta
• Paula D. Vinson, Martinez
• Erica L. Williams, Marietta
• Yolanda Z. Wright, Evans

The Board approved a request for certification of physical agent modality-occupational therapy assistant from the following applicant:

• Kesha L. Mitchell, Moultrie

The Board tabled 11 applications pending the receipt of additional information.

The Board elected Kendyl Brock of Cleveland as chairperson and Kathleen Conyers of Jonesboro as vice chair.

The Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy will hold its next meeting Friday, March 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
