Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy at its November 30 Meeting Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy held its bi-monthly meeting on Friday, November 30. The Board discussed changes to Rules 671-2-.05, 671-3-.08 and 671-3-.09. The board’s executive director will prepare the proposed amendments and submit to Attorney General’s office for the Memo of Authority. During the January 18, 2008 meeting, the Board will vote to post proposed amendments for public discussion. The Board approved its meeting schedule for 2008. All meetings will begin at 10:00 a.m. The following schedule was approved: Friday, January 18, 2008 The Board also held its annual Public Forum during which the Board members and were introduced to those in attendance and members of the public could ask questions of the Board. The next meeting of the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy will be held on Friday, January 18 at 10:00 am at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon. |
