If a licensee has reached their sixty-fifth (65th) birthday, demonstrates an inability to practice Optometry or can provide certification of disability to practice Optometry, has a current active license in good standing and isn’t under administrative disciplinary action, court action or probation he/she may request that their license be placed on Inactive status under the provisions set forth in Board Rule 430-2-.05
