Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators at Its September 8 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators held its meeting on Thursday, September 8, 2011.
The Board voted to approve seven administrator-in-training applications for licensure, three applications for licensure by endorsement, four applications for licensure as a preceptor, one application for licensure by reinstatement and two applications for administrator-in-training sites.
The following petitions for waiver/variance request were presented to the board:
- Matthew Honeycutt: Rule 393-9-.02(b) Qualifications of Applicants; Board Decision: Denied, insufficient evidence provided to prove hardship.
- Melissa Perry: Rule 393-4-.02(5) AIT Program; Board Decision: Denied, insufficient evidence provided to prove hardship.
The board voted to adopt Rule 393-12-.02 Change from Inactive to Active as posted for the 30-day minimum requirement.
The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators will hold its next meeting Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
