Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators at its March 10 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators held its meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2011.

The Board voted to approve 12 administrator in training applications for licensure, seven applications for licensure by endorsement, one application for licensure as a preceptor, three applications for licensure by reinstatement, four applications for administrator in training sites, one application for inactive status, and one application for reactivation.

The Board voted to post the following amendment for the 30 day minimum requirement upon the receipt of the memo of authority from Scarlett Elliott, AAG:

• Rule 393-12-.02 Change from Inactive to Active

The following petition for waiver/variance request was presented to the Board:

• George Lockhart, Warner Robins: Rule 393-12-.02(c); Board Decision: Granted

           
The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators will hold its next meeting Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
