Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators at its December 9 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators held its meeting on Thursday, December 9, 2010.

The Board voted to approve one administrator in training application for licensure, nine applications for licensure by endorsement, one application for licensure as a preceptor, one application for licensure by reinstatement, and five applications for administrator in training sites.

The Board voted to adopt the following rule amendments:

• Rule 393-3-.02 Licensure Requirements
• Rule 393-4-.02 AIT Requirements

The Board elected the following 2011 Board officers:

• Barbara Baxter, Chair
• Terry Cook, Vice Chair

The Board approved the following 2011 Board meeting dates:

• March 10
• June 9
• September 8
• December 8

           
The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators will hold its next meeting Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
