Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators at its December 17 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators held its meeting on Thursday, December 17, 2009.

The Board voted to approve the following administrator in training applications for licensure:

• Cherise Ball, Atlanta
• Lisa Bonham, Blairsville
• Melinda Huff, Cumming
• Billy Bentley Jr., Milledgeville
• Amy Rogers, Statesboro
• Tiffany Clifton, Swainsboro
• Vanessa Narmore, Woodbury
• Linda Underwood, Tallahassee, FL

The Board voted to approve the following applications for licensure by endorsement:

• Sister Mary B. Kelliher, Atlanta
• Jane Whitton, Columbia, AL
• Cassandra Mistretta, Mobile, AL
• Karen Soehner, St. Augustine, FL
• Michelle Glover, Glasgow, KY
• Macy Bryant, Dover, TN

The Board voted to approve the following applications for licensure as a preceptor:

• Bobbe Phillips, Alpharetta
• Kelley Richard, Blairsville
• Norma Jean Morgan, Clyo
• James B. Walker, Dacula
• Susan Craig, Eatonton
• David Galloway, Newnan

The Board voted to approve the following application for licensure by reactivation:

• Stephen Patterson, Valdosta

The Board voted to approve the following applications for administrator in training sites:

• Chatuge Regional Nursing Home, Hiawassee
• Life Care Center of Lawrenceville, Lawrenceville

The Board elected the following 2010 Board Officers:

• Barbara Baxter, President
• Terrell Cook, Vice President
