Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy at its October 23 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy held its meeting on Friday, October 23, 2009.

The Board voted to approve 11 applicants for licensure by application and one applicant for licensure by endorsement.

The Board voted to accept a cease and desist order from the following individuals for unlicensed practice:

  • Tiffany Kely, Savannah
  • Leon Stokes, Savannah

The Board voted to approve the following school as a Board Recognized Massage Therapy Educational Program:

  • Virginia College, Augusta

The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy will hold its next meeting Friday, December 4, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
