Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Massage Therapy at its January 16 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy held its meeting on Wednesday, January 16, 2008.

The Board voted to accept a Public Consent Agreement for Licensure for the following individuals:

Thomas L. Jones, Cleveland, TN

The Board voted to approve the following massage therapy education programs as Board recognized:

North Georgia Technical College, Georgia
Southern Union States Community College, Alabama

The Board voted to approve the following massage therapy education programs as Board recognized, pending the receipt of additional information or the confirmation of submitted information:

Emerald Coast Massage School, Florida
Scherer Institute of Natural Healing, New Mexico
International School of Skin and Nails, Georgia

The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy will hold their next meeting on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 9 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
