Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses held its bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday and Thursday, October 14-15, 2009.

The Board ratified 364 licensees including initial licensure, reinstatements, endorsements and equivalency.

The Board accepted the following voluntary surrenders:

  • Betty D. Ray, Gainesville: In lieu of disciplinary action by the Board
  • Kathleen Lynn Mesalam, Rockmart: In lieu of disciplinary action by the Board

The Board accepted the following Public Reprimand:

  • Meadie Annette Potter, Commerce: Failure to document performance of CPR

The Board accepted the following cease and desist orders:

  • Evelyn Glover, Americus: Unlicensed Practice
  • Windy S. Foy, Claxton: Unlicensed Practice
