Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses at its June 3 and 4 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses met on Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4, 2009.

The Board voted to license 323 applicants, including initial licensure, reinstatements, endorsements and equivalency.

The Board voted to reinstate the following individual’s licenses under public consent orders, which includes a reprimand:

• Ginette Grace Trapp, Fort Valley
• Debbie Brannen, Glennville

The Board voted to accept public consent orders from the following licensees:

• Armando Allen, Riverdale: Probationary licensure.
• Georgana Ellis, Brooklet: Public reprimand.

The Board voted to suspend the following licensees:

• Christina Montgomery, Dahlonega
• Ginger Hulsey, Gainesville
• Dana Turk, Snellville

The Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses will hold its next meeting Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20, 2009 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards.
