Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians at its June 3 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians met on Friday, June 3, 2011.
In response to the resignation of Marsha Christy, the Board elected the following 2011 officers:
- George Gaumond, Chair
- Susan Whittle, Vice Chair
The Board voted to approve 21 initial certifications, three upgrade certifications and two reinstatements.
The Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians will hold its next meeting Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. via teleconference.
