Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians at its December 1 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians met on Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

The Board elected the following 2011 officers:

• Marsha Christy, Chair
• George Gaumond, Vice Chair

The following 2011 Board meeting dates were approved:

• March 2
• June 8
• September 7
• December 1

The Board voted to ratify 18 licenses.

The Board voted to deny the following application for certification:

• Sylvan Delfreda Griffith, Augusta

The Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians will hold its next meeting Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
