Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians at its March 25 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians met via conference call on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.

The Board voted to deny two applications for licensure:

  • Roy Edward Jackson, II, Atlanta
  • Elizabeth Jane Bender, Milledgeville

The Board voted to accept continuing education courses sponsored by Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS).

The Georgia State Board for the Certification of Librarians will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
