Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Registration for Foresters at its February 11 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Registration for Foresters held its meeting on Friday, February 11, 2011.

The Board voted to adopt the following rule amendments:

• Rule 220-2-.02 Education. The purposes of this rule amendment are to correct an error in a reference to a Code section in Title 12, and to indicate that the original rule has been amended.
• Rule 220-2-.08 Examination for Registration. Amended. The purpose of this rule amendment is to reflect recent changes in the Board’s policies and procedures about examination of applicants for licensure.
• Rule 220-3-.05 Reinstatement. Amended. The purpose of this rule amendment is to correspond with changes to the Board’s rules regarding continuing education hours.

The Georgia State Board of Registration for Foresters will hold its next meeting Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
