Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Dentistry at its May 7 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Dentistry met on Friday, May 7, 2010.

The Board voted to post the following new rules:

• Chapter 150-15 Teledentistry
• Rule 150-15-.01 Definition: Provides the definition of teledentistry
• Rule 150-15-.02 Permit: Outlines the permitting requirements
• Rule 150-15-.03 General: Provides general practice guidelines   

The Board accepted a cease and desist order on the following individual:

• James Wyatt, Covington

The Board issued a cease and desist order on the following individual:

• Kenneth Hortman, Roberta

                       
The Georgia Board of Dentistry will hold its next meeting Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
