Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Dentistry at its September 11 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Dentistry met on Friday, September 11, 2009.
The Board voted to accept cease and desist orders for the unlicensed practice of dentistry from the following individuals:
- Michelle Smith, Albany
- Rina Timpson, Albany
- Patricia C. Hufham, Lilburn
- Mark McClure, Suwanee
- Lacy Odom, Thomaston
The Board voted to accept consent orders from the following licensees:
- Letisha Edwards, DDS, Decatur: Two years probationary licensure.
- John C. Martin, DMD, Atlanta: Ninety day suspension stayed, followed by five years probationary licensure.
The Georgia Board of Dentistry will hold its next meeting Friday, October 9, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
