Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Dentistry at its January 16 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Dentistry met on Friday, January 16, 2009.

The Board voted to adopt revisions to the following rule:

• Board Rule 150-5-.02 Qualification for Dental Hygienist.  The change provided information on the examination accepted by the board for licensure consideration. 

The Board also accepted consent orders for the following licensees:

• Sylvester Carlo, McDonough
• Michael A. Knight, Eastman
• James McGee, Stone Mountain
• Scott Wade Smith, Loganville

The Georgia Board of Dentistry will hold its next meeting on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
