Actions Taken by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists at its October 1 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists met Friday, October 1, 2010.

The Board voted to license 12 associate professional counselors by exam waiver, 31 professional counselors by exam waiver, one professional counselor by endorsement, one professional counselor by reactivation, four professional counselors by reinstatement, one master social worker by exam waiver, two marriage and family therapists by exam waiver, one clinical social worker by exam waiver, and two clinical social workers by reactivation.

The following petition for variance/waiver request was presented to the Board:

The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists will hold its next meeting Friday, November 5, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
