Actions Taken by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists at its July 9 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists met Friday, July 9, 2010.

The Board voted to license 13 associate professional counselors by exam waiver, 27 professional counselors by exam waiver, two professional counselors by reactivation, six clinical social workers by exam waiver, three clinical social workers by reactivation, five master social workers by exam waiver, and two master social workers by reactivation.

The Board reviewed and denied the following petition for variance/waiver request:

The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists will hold its next meeting Friday, August 6, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
