Actions Taken by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists at its May 15 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists met on Friday, May 15, 2009

The Board voted to approve 17 applications for licensure as associate professional counselors by exam waiver; 20 applications for licensure as professional counselors by exam waiver; three applications for licensure as master social workers by application; two applications for licensure as master social workers by reinstatement; three applications for licensure as clinical social workers by application; two applications for licensure as clinical social workers by reinstatement; and one application for licensure as clinical social workers by reactivation.

The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists will hold its next meeting on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
