Actions Taken by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists at its April 10 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists met on Friday, April 10, 2009.

The Board voted to license eight associate professional counselors by exam waiver; three associate marriage and family therapists by exam waiver; two marriage and family therapists; 20 professional counselors by exam waiver; five licensed professional counselors by reinstatement; one licensed professional counselor by endorsement; five master social workers by application; and two clinical social workers by application.

The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists will hold its next meeting on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
