Actions Taken by the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists at its January 9 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists met on Tuesday, January 9, 2009.

The Board voted to approve 61 applicants for licensure and denied two. Seven applications were tabled for review pending the receipt of additional materials.

The Board elected William Quarterman of Toccoa as Chair and Gene Schrader of Alpharetta as Vice Chair.

The Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists will hold its next meeting Friday, February 13, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
