Actions Taken by the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors at its April 19 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors held its meeting via conference call on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.

The Residential Division voted to adopt the following rule:

• 553-12-.02 Continuing Education-Residential. Amended. The purpose of this rule is to clarify continuing education requirements for the 2012 renewal cycle, and subsequent renewal cycles.

The Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
