Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Master Plumbers and Journeyman Plumbers Contractors at its February 9 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Master Plumbers and Journeyman Plumbers Contractors held its meeting on Wednesday, February 9, 2011.

The Board voted to approve 49 journey plumber applications for licensure, 31 master plumber non-restricted applications for licensure, and one master plumber restricted application for licensure.

The Board voted to accept the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:

  • Claude Howard Morgan Jr., Acworth
  • Luis F. Clavijo-Velasco, Atlanta
  • Andrico Ramon Lee, Atlanta
  • Paul Gwyn, Atlanta
  • Lance Blake, Douglasville
  • Adam Bohler, Tignall
  • Jose L. Ochoa-Arreguin, Warner Robins

The Board voted to accept the following consent orders for arrest, conviction and pleas:

  • Demetrice Holland, Douglasville
  • Jody Lee Watson, Forest Park

The Board voted to accept the following consent order for practicing beyond the scope of a journeyman plumber license:

  • Larry Patton, Bloomingdale

The Board voted to accept the following consent orders for unlicensed practice:

  • Horace D. Young d/b/a Darell Young Plumbing, Monticello
  • Lester Burks, Tifton
  • David Ridgeway, Woodstock

The Board voted to accept the following consent order for failure to perform client services:

  • Claude H. Morgan, Acworth

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Master Plumbers and Journeyman Plumbers Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
