Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Plumbing Contractors at its June 17 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Plumbing Contractors met on Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
The Board voted to approve 27 journeyman plumber applications for licensure; 23 master plumber non-restricted applications for licensure and four master plumber restricted applications for licensure.
The Board voted to approve the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:
- Steven Rivera, Loganville
- Walter Lee Brinson, Savannah
- Wayne Williams, Atlanta
- Ken Wren, Waycross
- Joel Ibarra, Martinez, Norcross
- Steve Bodi, Woodstock
- Ricky Lee Suggs, Milledgeville
The Board voted to accept the following consent orders for substandard work:
- James Kerry Sweat, Ellijay: Fined $500 and placed on two years probation.
- Jeff Ervil Brock, Morrow: Fined $500 and placed on probation concurrent with criminal probation.
The Board voted to accept the following consent order for assisting unlicensed practice:
- F. Ray Hubbard, Snellville: Fined $500.
The Board voted to accept the following consent order for criminal convictions:
- David Wheeler, Waverly: Probation concurrent with criminal probation.
The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Plumbing Contractors will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
