Actions Taken by the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors at its March 25 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors met on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.

The Board voted to approve 29 applications for licensure as utility foreman; 21 applications for licensure as utility managers and 45 applications for licensure as utility contractors.

The Board voted to approve the following cease and desist orders for unlicensed practice:

• John Hall, Sharpsburg
• Waymon Tillman, Sharpsburg
• Norman Reid, Reid Construction, Villa Rica
• Jimmy Holloway, Carrollton
• Robert Reisner, Monroe
• F.J. Van Antrep, Cheboygan, MI
• Greg Slayton, St. Simons Island

The Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Utility Contractors will hold its next meeting Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
