Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners at its September 16 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners met on Thursday, September 16, 2010.
The Board voted to post the following rules:
- 100-4-.01 Advertising. The proposed amendment removes the listing of specialties/certifications as this same information is provided in Board Rule 100-4-.02, and corrects the time required for retention of patient records to be in line with Georgia law.
- 100-5-.02 Approval of Educational Programs. The proposed amendment would change the title of this rule to Continuing Education Requirements and Approval of Educational Programs.
- 100-7-.04 Standards of Practice. The rule change provides additional information and restrictions pertaining to financial and pre-paid contracts.
The Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners will hold its next meeting Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
