Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Barbers at its March 8 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Barbers met on Monday, March 8, 2010.
The Board voted to deny the following applications for licensure:
- Robert D. Reed, Atlanta: Barber Apprentice/Initial
- Raymond Corder, Broxton: Master Barber/Endorsement
- Eugene Hendrix, Buford: Master Barber/Endorsement
- Aaron Martinez d/d/a Servicio Primavera, Dalton: Barbershop/Initial
- Phyllis Howard, Macon: Master Barber/Reinstatement
- Craig L Davis d/b/a Razor’s Barbershop II, Pine Mountain: Barbershop/Initial
- Anthony Sellers, Florence, SC: Barber Instructor/Endorsement
The Board voted to release the following license from suspension for non-payment of a student loan:
- Kendrick K. Walker, Waynesboro
The Board voted to suspend the following licenses pursuant to requests from the Department of Human Resources for non-payment of child support:

The Board voted to dismiss the following citation:

Because of the small number of pending cases, the Board will not conduct citation hearings on April 12, 2010. These cases will be heard on May, 20, 2010.
The Georgia State Board of Barbers will hold its next meeting Monday, May 10, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
