Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Barbers at its October 26 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Barbers met on Monday, October 26, 2009.
The Board denied two applications
- Teko Sharmond Turner, Clermont: barber apprentice/initial
- Marc Duane Rogers, Albany: master barber/endorsement
The Board voted to accept the voluntary surrender of a master barber’s license from the following individual:
- Orenthius James Perkins, Forsyth
The Board closed 14 complaints.
The Board voted to accept fine payments from the following establishments:
- Real Deal Barbershop, Atlanta
- Bennys Style Barber Shop, Loganville
The Board voted to uphold citations against the following establishments:
- William Gordon Walker, Atlanta
- Torrey’s Barber Shop, Augusta
- Robertson & Son Barber Shop, Cochran
- Jermaine’s Cuts & Styles, Decatur
- Da Cutting Kings, Fayetteville
- Unlimited Hair & Design, Marietta
- Start’N 5 Barbershop, Valdosta

The Board voted to accept the following consent orders:
